POLICIES OF OTSEGO LAKESIDE RESORT

Please review all policies below

GENERAL POLICIES

Damage Policy

Otsego Lakeside Cabins reserves the right to file a claim with you up to 5 days after checkout for any damage charges.

Pet Policy

  • We do not allow cats
  • Dogs must be on leash at all times
  • Dogs must be within your cabin’s area. Leash should not extend to another cabin’s area
  • Dogs should not be outside barking after 9 pm
  • Dogs are not allowed on the beach area. There is a pet-friendly beach if you want to take your dog swimming at Otsego Lake State Park
  • We ask that you use a flea treatment on any dogs prior to visiting.

Boating and Swimming Policy

Boat slips may or may not be available during your stay.  Please request use. All children must be accompanied by an adult at the beach on the property.  Jumping off the dock is prohibited.

Glass and Glass Bottles

We ask that no glass or glass bottles be brought onto the site.  Broken glass can harm both animals and children.

Cleaning Fees

A $100 Cleaning Fee is applied to all invoices.  Cabin #4 requires a cleaning fee of $200.

Use of Keurig Coffee Makers

We supply 2 bottles of water in each cabin with the Keurig. We ask that only bottled water be used to extend the life of the machines.

Payment Policy

  • Once you make a reservation with us, you will see the total that will be processed. We ask for full payment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • If you cancel within 60 days of your check-in date you will receive a full refund.
  • If you cancel within 30 days of your check-in date, you will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations that are less than 14 days before check-in are ineligible for a refund.

     NOTE: The cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card you used to book your reservation.   The cleaning fee will be refunded on cancellations.

CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY

Supervision 

  • No children under the age of 18 are permitted on the dock or in the beach area without an adult accompanying them.
  • Quiet Time is 10:00 pm.
  • All guests must be within their own cabin area by 10 pm.  Music and conversation must be at a level not to disturb other guests.
  • Common areas are closed after 10:30 pm

Club House

  • Grills and tables on the patio area are open to all guests.
  • Guests are not permitted on the lower level of the clubhouse as this is a storage area.
